Marc dekos

One must be crazy for this world...

In the year 2008 Marc began the preparation for a music study in Vienna. Theory and harmony theory, as well as piano practice and singing lessons with Graham Buckland, university music director in Regensburg.

Since 2008, he has been studying music education, sound engineer and electro-acoustic composition (Elak) at the University of Musical and Performing Arts in Vienna.

At the same time he studied musicology among others at Herbert Ortmayr, as well as the beginning of vocal studies at Sona Gazarian and clarinet studies with Hidan Mamudov, clarinetist of the Viennese Tschuschenkapelle.

In preparation for music studies, voice technique and voice hygiene training with Werner Stimm (ORF).

Until 2014, regular studies in music Education (me) with a focus on Popularmusic, with Harald Huber, folk songs with Rudolf Pietsch and Herman Härtl and choral management and youth vocals with Alois Glassner, Johannes Hiemetsberger, and Johannes Prinz. General Bass studies with Wolfgang Capek, piano with Clara Harrer-Baranyi, Christoph Moser, Stefan Gottfried and Paul Stejskal.

Graduation of the music Education degree with a diploma thesis at the Institute for Folk Music Research and Enthnomusikologie with Dr. Rudolf Pietsch with the title "from Folk to World music" master Classes with Christian Kolonovits (film music), Marwan Abbado (World music), Gerd Kenda (vocals), Ottokar Prochazka (choral director), Hidan Mamudov (clarinet)

From 2013 to 2015 in addition, he studied instrumental vocal pedagogy (IGP) in professional singing (baritone) at Rannveig Praga-Postl.

Since 2014 regular studies in art and Communicative Practice (KkP), Artistic education (BE) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Professional activities in the field of music have existed since 2010. First worked as a teacher “Sondervertragslehrer” at AHS and BAKIP in Vienna, and 2014 in the Viennese singing school in the fields of children's choir, piano, flute, singing and voice training.
